Reasons Why I Am Obsessed With Organization

As most of you know, I love to be organized.  My life has to be just right as I say even though there are days when it is not and.............I freak out.  And as most of you know that my daughter's first birthday party is this Saturday.......and its going to be quite the big party (80 + people).  As I like to think that most people who would normally host a party for that many people would wait until the last week to plan everything, which is OK to most but not to me.  I've actually relaxed a lot this week, and I will up to Saturday because I have everything that needs to be done that can be done!  The most craziest part will be Friday evening when I frost and decorate 80 + cupcakes (6 different kinds), but that will happen when everyone is sleeping :-).

I am a very goal-oriented person.  I think being organized helps you set and achieve those goals.  With my goals in mind, I usually have paper spread through out the house and I use the day planning out goals for the next day.  I make list of things to do and things I want to do, and as each day passes I get closer to my goals.

I feel that if I'm organized, I have more balance in my life; minimizing the time spent on necessary  things like shopping and looking for things, but increase time spent on important things like family.

I also feel as I save lots of money.  Lets face it, if you wait until the last minute to plan a big party you end up spending A LOT of money on the last minute party planning items.  Where I have purchased things when they have been on sale in a long period of time.  Yeah, I get picked on because I buy paper plates 2 months in advanced, but oh well it adds up when you save money!

Being organized makes me more productive; I'm more focused and get more done in less time.

Overall, being organized is the way of life.  There are so many areas to focus on when I get organized; our money, home, family, kitchen cupboards, mail, children........If you want the the benefits of being organized, you might as well start now--I promise it will only get easier!

Should I be a professional organizer, ha ha
