There are a lot of toddlers that I often think "Wow they are going to be a star someday", but I can honestly tell you that my 3 year old Kylie will NOT be a singer or movie star unless something drastically changes. Last night she had her Daycare presentation and it was soo cute- remember a few weeks ago I talked about Jack Be Nimble..well at this presentation she was supposed to recite this in front of everyone..yeah I know that is crazy right at 3 years old in front of 100 people. She was escorted on strange by 2 young boys and she stood there with a blank face and was not about to say a word..it was the cutest thing as she was determined to not crack a smile in front of anyone. Of the 20 or so kids in the presentation, Kylie was the only one who didn't sing, didn't say her poem, and didn't hug the teacher when she got her award: I know a lot of parents would probably be disappointed, but I still think it was the cutest thing and I am proud of her for even being on stage and looking soo pretty. It really is ok if your child is shy and has stage fright as there are many different personalities in this world and not everyone is made to be on stage. It will be exciting to see how Kylie changes over the years: I think back to my childhood and I was always shy and now I am in sales!
